Fresh from Comic-Con and The Walking Dead Escape, we let you know how we faredin the giant zombie obstacle course (hint: we learned a few things about each other that day….). Also we bring you the latest news on The Walking Dead, give you our thoughts on the Norwegian Nazi zombie flick, Dead Snow, and announce our latest contest. All that and the top five things that creep us out the most. One way or another, it’s safe to say you’ll be weirded out by the end of this episode….
We’ve been happy to get more calls from you guys lately, so keep ‘em coming! As always, you can call us at (650) 485-DEAD or email us at brains@walkingdeadcast.com.
And by the way, if you’re liking what we’ve been doing in the “off season,” we appreciate your reviews (or even just ratings) and subscriptions in iTunes. It’s easy and it’s free. Here’s how:
1. Find our iTunes page here and then click “View in iTunes” (or just search for us in iTunes).
2. In iTunes, click “Subscribe Free.”
3. Scroll down and click “Write a Review,” and then leave us an honest rating or review.

YAY!
I know I wasn’t in time for it
Please. You guys have ONE bad rating. About all the rest have 5 stars, mine included. Reading that one, I couldn’t help but think of that neighbor Karen was talking about some time ago…..hmmm.
Still waiting for it to show up on iTunes. Check back later.
So, are we True Blood free then? Can I come out of my bunker?
Great to have you both back!
We remind people about reviewing and subscribing now and then because it helps us stay higher up in the rankings and makes it easier to get interviews later on (and because it’s nice to get feedback).
I know. That was meant to be positive facebook feedback, not criticism. : ). I think it’s awesome that there’s so many 5 star reviews. With over 1200 FB fans though, there should be way more than 200+ reviews. I gave mine, now everyone else do your part!
It was creepy writing and commenting on what creeps listeners out. But nothing prepared me for the creep factor of listening to you guys broadcast them all on your show. I was listening to your podcast at 11 pm. Pretty sure there was a ghost in my house, murky water in my bed, and Gage (the kid from Pet Cemetery) in my doorway! Great work.
Great episode! I loved hearing about your experiences during The Walking Dead Escape. Sounds like you guys had a blast. :)
Also, I was sad to hear (though not surprised) that you and Lissy aren’t going to continue with the Breaking Bad ‘Cast, but I’m excited for her to come on The Walking Dead ‘Cast as a special guest. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new season.
Thanks GL. We DID have a blast at The Walking Dead Escape. It was fun to be on the other side of the equation this time :)
And yeah, I wish Lissy and I could continue with the BBC too, but for the sake of my family and my sanity, I had to choose a podcast, and this one’s my baby!
Jon Boyd, I promise not to talk about True Blood anymore unless I’m podcasting.
That will certainly make our daily chats less stabby.
Oh, and Karen, the celery thing is this weird oral defensive thing I have going on; I have issue with water chestnuts, as well, but not to the same extent. Not really much of a story. I’d tell you the story behind the disproportionately small hands thing, but I think it’s probably one of those stories that is only funny to the people involved, or if you are in an altered state of mind – probably both… heh. :p
Hmm, saying it’s a “weird oral defensive thing” doesn’t really clear it up for me. :)
Haha! Not sure how to explain it. BTW, last night I was reading some posts on Twitter and on of the ‘stars’ that I follow made a post with my name in it and it totally freaked me out for a second. Made me think of your list. Heh. :p
Love the podcast! I was one of the zombies you guys talked to in the bar, it was great to meet the two of you! Next year you’ll have to do the Escape as walkers, it was a great experience. Just staying in zombie-character for a full four hours, it changes you…
@MattTakimoto Yeah, good to meet you guys too! I think I want to try again as a survivor next year. Have to redeem myself…. Anyways, hope some of those undead tendencies wear off after awhile…. ;)

@MattTakimoto PS – I’ll probably read this on our next episode, if you don’t mind.
