More Than a One-Off Character

Last seen handcuffed atop a building in season 1, Merle Dixon, looks to play a larger role in season 3.  Originally planned to be a one-off character,  the writers decided to keep the feisty racist around after seeing just how much drama he could create for the survivors.  After having to cut off his hand to escape, look for him create plenty of drama.
