Another great in-depth interview with Walking Dead showrunner Glen Mazzara this episode. Glen talks about how he listens to and interacts with the fans, the importance of showing the characters in TWD striving to have lives worth living, how some of the most hard hitting moments of this season related personally to his life, the strategy behind the Governor’s actions, what he sees for the future of the show, and he gives his perspective on the controversy behind Oscar and T-Dog’s untimely deaths. And more!

For those having Karen withdrawals, don’t worry, she’ll be back next week when we talk with Walking Dead comic illustrator, Charlie Adlard.

@jasonandkaren ok…. u’re cute, too
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE !!!
@jasonandkaren Great interview!
This was such a great interview!
Thanks. I was afraid it was a bit too heavy. If and when we talk to him again, I’m making sure Karen is there to brighten things up! :)
Then again, Mazzara barely needs an interviewer. He’s always got interesting things to talk about.
Very true! We do miss Karen, though. Great interview. Heavy isn’t a bad thing. Love hearing from Glen and getting some official answers.
I agree with Gracie Lou. Heavy is appropriate while we are all waiting for the second half of the season. It gives us fans more fodder for speculation :)
@jasonandkaren Okay I’m listening to this @glenmazzara interview now. Most ppl have short attention spans to listen to these, lol
I’ve been meaning to comment on this one all week. What a great interview! I love how he always seems so straightforward and honest with his answers, and Jason, you asked some great questions. Of course today we’re just hearing that he won’t be with the show next season, and that makes me very, very sad indeed. I’ve become a big Glen Mazzara fan over the last couple years, after following him on Twitter and listening to many interviews with him. I hope the show will still be as good without him and I’ll be interested to see what his next project will be.
