To coincide with the release of the 100th issue of The Walking Dead, San Diego Comic Con’s first event will be The Walking Dead: Live the Apocalypse on July 12 -14 at Petco Park.  There are three ways to participate in this epic adventure. Participants can be a Survivor and race through the zombie infested evacuation zone; a Walker who becomes one of the undead, embracing the inevitable; or a Spectator who watches the apocalypse from sidelines at the Escape Party. All Survivors and Walkers will receive an Exclusive Special Edition of the 100th Issue of The Walking Dead.  All Spectators will receive an Exclusive Special Edition poster of the cover of the 100th Issue of The Walking Dead.

Looks like they jumping on the momentum that Run for Your Lives  has created.

Showrunner Glen Mazzara and writers Scott Gimple (“Save the Last One” “Pretty Much Dead Already” “18 Miles Out“) and Angela Kang (“Secrets” “Judge, Jury, Executioner”) on the Nerdist Writers Panel to talk about their take on the AMC series’ second season, characters’ goals both immediate and emotional, audience expectations, hot zombie action, and some choice tidbits about season three!

After that, we vow to bring you at least one episode per month in June and July, and then go back to bi-weekly in August when the TWD rumors start heating up again.
